[2025/11/07] Prof. Hahn Sowon: “AI Should Be a Partner to Humans” at KIRI Seminar

Professor Sowon Hahn, Director of the Active Aging HAI Center, recently took part in the seminar “The Future of AI and the Insurance Industry: Trust, Consumers, and Understanding Humans,” hosted by the Korea Insurance Research Institute (KIRI). During the discussion, she stressed that artificial intelligence should not remain a mere tool for automation, but should evolve into a partner that works alongside humans. She also pointed out the need for serious reflection on how AI companies and society should take ethical responsibility for the impact of AI on human life and emotions.
